Since it's only a Grand Prix (nothing too special) do what ever you want. Easiest and probably cheapest solution is take it to a powder coater, unless you are really good with paint yourself and want to take on a very laborious project. (I've done this).
Personally, I really like that old Raleigh 'bronze green' color. It is really a thing unique to its time.
