WheelTired, I used to know the Slingshot brothers(Joel and Mark Groendal). I remember the first one I saw, and was dumbfounded on how it could work. It was a BMX bike they were playing with in their garage at home. At CABDA I rode a mountain bike (double downtube cable, first generation) and was pleasantly surprised that it rode quite well, albeit a bit odd in the turns, but once I adapted it was just fine. By the time they sold the company I lost contact with them. Those were great days, my friend. They pop up on Craigslist once in a while, but mostly word of mouth in the bike community will find one in due time.
