I haven't heard of any shenanigans on SGRT by you... up by me, on the other hand...

As for people seeing you, get a reflective jacket or jersey & a couple blinkies for the back and you'll be visible. I continue to be surprised by the courtesy shown me when I'm running my headlights - I got un-right-hooked several times last night because cars waited for me to go by. It was weird, and even awkward one time.

When it gets colder I have a jacket made out of illuminite fabric that positively lights up like a billboard when a light hits it. Doesn't breathe worth a hill of beans but hoo boy is it visible.

I got one of the $25 3000 lumen (theoretical, not real) when there was a delay on the one I really wanted a clone of the magicshine mj-880.

The 880 clone finally arrived and went for long night ride yesterday with it on my bike and the 3000 on my SO's. I really like the light pattern of the 880 better! A lot better.

We both ran on low and it was A LOT of light. On high it was absurd...

Also I have the old narrow diameter handlebars which the 880 clone was more secure on. She has the newer wider handlebars and didn't have the drooping problem I had with the 3000.

Anyway best part is that she used to HATE riding at night. Her eyes don't like low light levels like mine do. She said she felt comfortable riding at night with these lights.

The ride was marvelous. That ride alone was worth what I spent on both lights!
