I don't know why people start "What gearing should I use?" threads. And why other people answer them. It's impossible to divine someone's riding style, ambitions, fitness and terrain over teh intarwebz.
I have become immune to "what new bike?" threads, but gearing on terrain I know and ride on the SS draws me in. I haven't figure out how the 11-32 became the solution to every gearing issue. I want a compact crank and a corn cob cassette.
