Yep — here it is. I was actually trying to get Flickr to do what Photobucket does with a direct link. I can't seem to do it. And PB is bugging me all to pieces. Anyway click and see this beauty.

You can get the Shimano UN series for as cheap as borscht, but these Tange units feel like a Campy sealed BB and the seals look very high quality. The finish and machining is also impressive. I do not know what the UN 72 or 91 costs — the 91 being the better one of the series according to Sheldon's article. This Tange Seiki is almost 4000 yen — say $40. This is not cheap, but back when I was a boy the bike manual in our little regional library said the BB was the "heart of the bicycle". With a unit like this, I'd say that I don't have to worrry all the time as to whether it will keep beating for another thousand miles.
