If you are going fixed, you will need to pay close attention to your chainline. Usually if you use the existing inner chainring your chainline should be about right. If you plan on using the outer ring then your chainline will be off unless you go with a shorter spindle. Unfortunately getting the right chainline is usually a little bit of trial and error. Not something you want when you are buying high dollar BB's.
