^^ Nice tights!! I like the colourful pattern.

Today's ride home was interesting. It was 4C (39F) and sunny and I couldn't see much movement from trees near the office so I decided to pack the tights and ride home in shorts but, it was quite cold with a strong headwind for much of the ride that created a -2C (29F) windchill. I was ok though, and pleased with my new gloves, light but windproof and my fingers/hands were fine. There were a few snowflakes, not really flakes as in the large soft ones but a bit more like pellets. The sun was warm and the clouds didn't seem to interfere with it shining on me but other clouds in the area were dropping this pellet-like snow, I could see the "mist" below them.

I got a bit of a scare though on the 90kmh (55mph) 2-lane highway portion of the ride. I was in a section where the paved shoulder was chewed up a bit so I would weave a bit to avoid cracks that could grab my front tire. This section also is a bit narrower, maybe 1.5m (1.5yd) between the metal guardrail and the rumble strip my side of the white line. Zoom, went a pickup past me with an odd series of yellow lights blinking on the top and then I realized what would be next, a tractor trailer with a WIDE load so I shifted a bit but it was already on me and passing me and then another. I'm glad that there was no oncoming traffic because the first one shifted over a bit into the oncoming lane.

Snow forecast for tomorrow morning, let's see if it's true.
