In the discussion on classic Japanese bicycles I pointed out that besides making excellent frames and forks, they also surrounded those with some very high quality parts and the Tange bottom brackets and headsets can be included on that list of very good quality parts.

There are not nearly as many parts that say "Made in Japan" anymore... and you don't see as many Tange labelled bottom brackets.
