They didn't announce anything about rules on it, but it looked like they ran a couple neutral laps to regroup. They played a little fast and loose with rules to keep things rolling and entertaining. E.g. In the Keirins there was *way* more contact than you can pull in a UCI race these days, but still well controlled.
Thank you for the insight. Penrose may be doing something silly, and I am trying to figure out some of the rules used in six days. But since they are a good part show, rules don't always exist. But I did find out that the UCI has very strict rules on the clothes a motorpacer can wear.
