To put things in perspective, Sea-Doo's, Ski-Doo's ATV's etc run $10k, $20k even $30k+++... nevermind a Harley Davidson!

Invest in the bike. $2k is NOTHING compared the those other "toys."
Ultegra is nice kit and I'm not surprised folks are using a BF as their sole-means of cycle locomotion. Folders have come a long way since 1960's Peugeots!
