Advice on my new build?

I'm about to get a wonderful, used Titanium frame, and I plan to strip it down and rebuild it from scratch, with new, decent-quality components. I'd love to get advice / critiques of the options. Here's my thinking so far:

GROUPSET
Current thinking: Campagnolo Centaur Carbon 'Black and Red' 10-speed
Rationale: I'm a Campy guy. My primary road bike is all Campy (9-sp Record) and I have a rain / commuter bike built from Campy spare parts and a $99 Nashbar frame, so I feel committed to the brand. I was originally thinking this would be my jump to 11-speed, but the Chorus set is ~$1300, almost as much as the Athena electronic one. Plus, I'd have to invest in some new 11-speed tools and I won't be able to swap wheels with my old 9-speeds easily, if at all. (Plus I think the black-and-red is sexy; ideally that accent will be the only color on the bike.)

WHEELS:
Current thinking: Mavic Ksyrium Elite-S
Rationale: Everyone seems to ride these, there must be a reason. I was going to go with the Elite, but I figured better to spend the money on better wheels rather than a possibly-silly 11-speed groupset.

PEDALS:
I have an interesting dilemma here. I'm planning to leave this bike up at our weekend cabin, but the only shoes I have there are MTB shoes. Since they have a completely rigid sole, they work fine as road shoes, but I guess I need mountain pedals? Do they make reasonably lightweight ones?

OTHER:
I'll probably just use some spare / inexpensive handlebars (e.g. $40 FSA alloy) and seatpost. The bike comes with a carbon fork and good-enough headset (I think).

Okay -- lay into me. What am I forgetting and/or being silly about?
