Thanks for the tips everyone! I've added a bunch of these routes on my to-ride list.

My friends and I decided to try going out and back on Bolinas-Fairfax Rd, starting from Fairfax, then all the way up to Ridgecrest rd; about 30miles. It's an amazing road that starts off with a climb, then a fast descent to a dam on Alpine Lake. You then have a pretty good climb all the way up to Ridgecrest Rd. Once up there, you're treated with sweeping views of Stinson beach. It was cold as ****, but going back down was spectacular.... you can really ride the bank on the loopy downhill section! Total vertical feet was about 1700ft.
