Who among the big bike companies does not outsource their frame builds? At least Trek does build it's top line frames here in the US. Some companies like Speacalized have never built their own bike anywhere.
I rode a fantastic 2014 Domane 5.2 for one day at this year's Cycle Oregon, loaned to me out of the Trek rep's demo trailer. It was a fantastic bike on less-than-smooth pavement. Surprisingly, I found out that not even the custom 6 Series Domane frames are made in Wisconsin. Did I mention it was fantastic?
