Truth be told... About 20 years ago I bungeed our boys bikes upside down on the minivan roof. After a long weekend at our cabin I drove into the garage with the bikes on the roof. I never was able to remove the skid marks from the siding above the garage door.. The bungees broke, the bikes suffered little damage, and who looks at the roof when you sale a van?
