That is the smart way to go about it. BUT I overpaid and got a cycling specific one and I actually REALLY like it. Got some Pearl Izumi Merino Wool socks for a fortune by sock standards. But got a "good" deal on other stuff like stylish lobster gloves and the Barrier Balaclava. Have not used the lobster gloves but the Balaclava is highly recommended. It is super versatile. I used it to cover everything when going downhills, I can cover mouth without nose. Mouth and nose without head. Head and neck without mouth and nose. Etc. you know all the combinations. I'd give it an A.
