The ride ended up being 100.05 miles, the first century ride I've done on a mountain bike. But because of my poor planning I ended up riding the last five miles or so in complete darkness. There was no moon, heavy tree cover, and no nearby roads or houses to provide any ambient light. It was just the hills to the left of me and the Potomac on the right. The deer were out in roving wild death-packs, and the goblins were coming toward me over the dead-smooth water of the river.
Or maybe that was just my imagination.
100 miles on a mt bike, that's great work!
