Modern bike trailer manufacturers have simplified the purchase of large items as well. When I purchased a four-foot by three-foot by two-foot freezer a few years ago, I borrowed a locally made trailer. It held that beast with no problems. I was so pleased with it that when a neighbor wanted to go halves on one, I jumped in and now have access to it whenever I want. IT sure beats the old extension ladder on wheels that I used to use for large items.

I still get a chuckle thinking back to the expression on the face of the person who brought the freezer out to the loading dock when he saw I was going to take it home on a bike.
