At 30 mph, I can stop my bike faster than a car. Take into account, reaction time and assuming a clean, dry surface. I have 26x1.75 tires with good tread and great disc brakes. And lots of weight to put over the rear wheel. Prove me wrong.
Depends on the car, and how and when you move your body mass while braking, and how good of a feel you have for the front brake.
