Bikes: 1978 Trek TX700; 1978/79 Trek 736; 1984 Specialized Stumpjumper Sport; 1984 Schwinn Voyageur SP; 1985 Trek 620; 1985 Trek 720; 1986 Trek 400 Elance; 1987 Schwinn High Sierra; 1990 Miyata 1000LT

My 1979 Trek 736 will take 700x28, but 700x32 hits the brake bridge.

My 1986 was designed with 700x28 in mind- I was running 700x32. I changed it to 27. 27x 1 1/4 would not clear the brake bridge nor the fork crown. 27x 1 1/8 does.

All tires Panaracer Pasela Tourguards.
