I just finished remaking a 2000 Litespeed Classic bought off Ebay for $850. It had Ultegra 6500 and Mavic Open Pro Wheels. I replaced the shifters, stem, handlebars and seatpost. I'm very pleased with the results, it's a smooth and comfortable ride.
