I'm going to make an attempt at coldsetting the frame to 135mm this weekend so I can see if my existing wheel/tire combo will fit without any major issues.
If that doesn't work, I'll have to decide what to do next. 650B might be the only real option to keep fenders as part of the plan.

Before coldsetting again, I would consider getting a 130mm wheelset, since the the wheels you are using must be from a hybrid bike which are wider in both the rim and the hub. If a "normal" 8-10 speed wheelset fits, you're going to have better clearance and can probably fit the fenders you want on there as well. You can buy them all day long for under $100.
