that pic you found has Dragonfly lugs. Our tandem is a Tetra with smoothed lugs. They can be painted as above, but otherwise more of a visual fakery.
IIRC, Tetra-Tetra's do not use lugs at all, instead having hand-wrapped layers of CF cloth at the tube junctions.
