That's a shame, about the star & name. I have an old French-made Bertin, with very similar lug cutouts, and it's missing many of the original stickers. Some were replaced with cheap stencils, & some bad logo painting occurred, LOL, but I sanded that off. Overall, it still looks great, like it was "well loved" over the years, with some history.
