We have a MUP along a pipeline. It began as a railroad and the line was abandoned after WWII. I'm not sure when the pipeline went in but I think after that. Some of it is not a MUP due to a couple bridges that have deteriorated but if you are careful you can carry your bike over and continue on what is a dirt or at least was a dirt road along the right of way.
