datlas, always worth going to the S word (Staples is a curse word in our household) and Worstbuy to check out keyboard action, but then look at Newegg to buy. I have found phenomenal deals from them. Three days before the boy left for college, we had to get him a laptop, we looked at those stores, and bought from Newegg for large savings, even with overnight shipping.
Unless things have changed recently, BB is price-matching online competitors, too - impatient people like me love not having to wait (though newegg does process/ship pretty quickly). The best deals I've seen, though, have been the in-store only deals at Microcenter - if there's one close by, it's worth checking out.
