Next organized will be Solvang 2014. I have been wanting to do a group ride with SCOR, the club that runs it, probably sometime in Nov. or Dec. I may do a solo before that. I'm thinking of taking the Fixie on several laps of SART during the Christmass break.
You should look into the Tour of Palm Springs with the rest of us chuckle heads. (Be a nice warm up for Solvang, that's for sure)
I did Solvang last year with vesteroid and Mrs Vest and it was pretty hard. It seemed like it was always windy, hilly or windy and hilly.
It was a terrific ride though, I enjoyed it.
