Eh. Bikes are meant to be ridden and enjoyed. If you really wanted those parts you'd figure out a way. It's not a big deal either way though. Your best bet is to probably just sit on it for a while and let the newness wear off before you decide which way to go. Of course if the wife falls in love with it this is all a moot point
