The n-3 / n-6 split difference between grass-fed beef and grain-fed beef is impressive as hell. It's almost like these cow things evolved to eat grass and we evolved to eat them and when you make them eat stuff they shouldn't then we probably shouldn't eat them. Heresy, I know, but...
I'm in the process of locating a big chunk of grass-fed beef. I'm going to go for a 1/2 beef, I think. $$$ wise it makes a lot of sense and health-wise, it's not unlike eating wild salmon in many ways. Buying grass-fed hamburger from New Zealand or Uruguay (like I do now) is not only expensive, but it seems to be about as inefficient as can be.
