Do you have any kind of a bike recycler near you? Down here in Seattle, we have 3 or 4 pretty good places to scrounge, err, recycle.
Just today, I picked up an old Avocet Touring WI saddle, for like $5. It's pretty scuffed up, but still a top-notch comfy leather saddle. Now I just need to find out what that WI stands for. I don't think it's for Wisconsin, but I might be wrong, yet again.
