Why are so many people hatin on 105 group? Its a great group and for most people anything else is just (in my opinion) luxury items. I'm selling my specialized on craigslist and a guy called about it wanting some answers I try my best at being a sales person.

Him: I'm calling about the thing you have for sale...
Me: uhhh?
Him: the bike...
Me: yeah that me, I'm selling the bike.
Him:...
Me: did you have some questions?
Him: yeah, what size is the frame?
Me: 52 compact frame
Him: what model is it?
Me: Specialized S-works E-5
Him: Is that a mountain bike?
Me: no...(getting bored at this point) its a road bike.
Him: what does it have on it?
Me: umm...if you mean group, its all black 105s
Him: oh, let me think about it, I wanted something more high end like dura-ace.
Me: okay, if thats what you want, it kinda uneccessary but let me know if your interested.
Him: how much are you selling for?
Me:15 but i'm flexible
Him: how much did you get it for?
Me: ummm... I built it up for myself so I don't know exactly.

It pretty much ends like that. Why do you need dura-ace when you obviously don't know much about bikes. Its fine if you can afford it, but still, "is is a mountain bike?" WTF didn't you read the ad with all the info on it and the price and a picture? I don't like it when people ask me how much I got it for, it's just one of those things that you just don't ask because you should always do your research and it really isn't any of your businese how much I paid for it, its how much i want to sell it for and if you want you can haggle and bargain. Sorry, just ranting, ignore me.
