The radar showed no rain around my area, but I could hear my gutters dripping so I knew what was going on. That misty/foggy crap that gets you really wet in a short distance. The stuff that will get on your glasses no matter the size of your helmet or hat brim, and render them useless withing a hundred yards. Luckily I put my contact lenses in. My safety glasses came off before I made it a mile, but that mist actually feels pretty good on my eyes. There, I said something good about it.... I wore rain gear, but I think the next time I ride in this stuff at 50 degrees I'm going to go along with others who say just get wet, as I was pretty sweaty under my rain gear. I'll bring a towel and change into my dry shirt (which I do anyway) before I get on the bus. My riding shorts dry fast.

I just kept telling myself "At least I'm not on a treadmill." though in the dark it kind of feels like one.

Edit: on the way home the weather was similar, and it was even warmer at about 56 degrees F so I skipped the rain gear. I have several miles of gravel back road on part of my commute, so I hosed off my bike when I got home, but missed these:

And that was with full fenders:

I haven't biked for a week and a half. I think they graded that road in the mean time, as it was a mess and I kept hitting patches of thick gravel in the dark that made the bike all wiggly even with 2" tires. Bleah. I should be able to ride again on Friday, and since it's just meetings, I hope to go in late and get off late and have both rides in the daytime.
