Good day.
In its current state it only needs better brake blocks (shimano junk),
wider tyres (23c on a 17mm rim...) and sawing off a bit length from
the seatpost. Other than that it's in perfect condition, cassette hub,
8 speed mega-range, friction levers, 42/52 Ofmega crankset, bullhorn
bar, flatbar type levers.
The thing is, even with my steel Coppi with a 10sp cassette, I seldom
use more than 5-6 cogs on both my urban and trainning/long distance
trips. Two cogs for uphills, two for straights, two for sprints and the
rest is unwanted weight. That and the fact that I got hold of an
excellent 6sp Ofmega hubset with cartridge bearings makes me lean
towards a more minimalistic 1x6 approach.
