I've been looking for an older Schwinn 'numbered' series (354, 564, 954, etc) aluminum full bike or frame for awhile for a build (looking for this mainly for sentimental reasons, I know there are better frame sets out there.) Found what I thought was the perfect frame on CL but the ad says the RD mount is stripped out. That one has an integrated hanger so I can't easily replace it. I will probably pass on it, even though the price is next to giving it away (assuming the guy would ship it to me as he's in Florida and I'm in the middle of Indiana). I haven't seen pics of it to know how bad it is, but is it salvageable or just keep looking?
