here. (full disclosure i get $ back if you sign up and buy something) I tried the bags over my feet to keep them warm but I felt my feet get colder as I rode maybe I did not have thick enough socks on. (just my plain ole smartwool ones) I did have my armwarmers, underarmor layer under a wool jersey and Performance softshell. my body and eventually arms and legs to my calves were warm it was just where my feet were covered with bags. It was cool at first but I found myself venting halfway through my ride, but just barely because it was cool. (I know you northern riders may laugh at my layers but I needed to ride today since I got word that I would not be interviewed for this job I had really been wanting)
also i have to figure out something for my eyes they sure watered a lot
Hey 34 is cold whether down south or up north (except in Canada where it's summer weather) - good for you! Try some cheap safety glasses for your eyes, big one fit over glasses.
An unusual Saturday work commute, 41F with ripping headwind. Gusts of up to 30mph called for this afternoon - could be a fun ride home!
