Wickenburg to Parker to 29 Palms? That's a lot of empty desert and adds some miles.
If you pick up I-10 at the US-60 truck stop and get off it at Blythe, you're only on I-10 for 30-some miles. That stretch of US 60 from Wickenburg was resurfaced seven or eight years ago and should be nice to bike on.
i have done it the other way (29 palms to aguila) twice. it's 100 miles of nothing between 29 palms and vidal junction, so be sure to carry what you need. it's a pretty nice ride, even if traffic is mostly giant rvs and 5th wheels and boats going to the lake. the days might be too short now to comfortably do this in 1 day, but 100 miles of nothing = a lot of space to camp for free
