Congrats, and I think you did luck and got a great find. It looks in prime condition. A lot of things you could do with that. First, if your wife likes it, IMO, you have to match the seat up with the bar tape, then you wife might want brifters.. Oh boy.. All in all a sweet ride. The last thing I would do is strip it.. It is proud bike, and seems all original.. The only way I would separate any parts from that frame would be to upgrade.. Like my 89 Master here..
