Never heard of such a problem. When a tailor talks about which side a man "dresses" to he is referring to, as someone else put it, the main mast. The rest of the jewels are supposed to hang to the center. The idea of putting them to one side and the saddle nose to the other is rather bizarre. Never heard of it. As said above they should be cinhed up tight by the elastic shorts or at least lie on the saddle nose. No reason for there to be pressure.
