Try
racing with 100 guys, half of whom are sketchy NYC idiots. You haven't lived until you've tried that. I've done some of that, usually the fields are smaller, but sometimes they get to be 80+, then it gets more interesting. Better to stay near the front.
Easier said than done of course.
