If you are driving a large vehicle, then you should be using convex mirrors so you can tell what is next to you before you start any turns.
It's time for truck operators to install cameras that enable drivers to clearly see every nook and cranny of their blind spots. Although to be honest I would hope we move away from large trucks for transport. IMO, they are inefficient and unnecessary.
