I was quite comfortable even riding into the wind. The EMS gloves are the warmest I've ever had but not as good as mittens. I also have a pair of Hestra 3 finger ski mitts which I'm saving for colder temps. The SP jacket is nice because the fit is quite snug so very little wind drag and vents that can be opened. I like the wool stuff, it's comfortable and I think it works in a wider range of temps than the synthetics. Also doesn't smell
. My feet and hands are the big problems. Bar Mitts work well. The downside is if it's windy they tend to act as a sail.
