What's a good inexpensinve track wheel for my conversion

I'm looking to build a fixed conversion on the cheap. The one place I don't want to go TOO cheap is the rear wheel. I live in a very hilly town, and I ride hard. I don't want to risk converting a freewheel hub. I'll run a front brake, but I still think that's asking for trouble. I was tempted by the NYCBikes bargain track wheel for $60, but I want a durable wheel, and I'm thinking that's not it.

I like the looks of Surly fixed/fixed hubs, and the IRO/Formula track hub. I'd love to find something used for less $, but if not IRO, and Harris both have suitable looking wheels for around $100.

I'd appreciate any recommendatoins. Minimum requirements are a durable wheel with track threads on at least one side. it doesn't have to be flip/flop, but that would be nice. I'd take a 27" if I found something good and cheap because the front wheel on the bike I'm converting is 27, but I'd rather get 700c, and upgrade the front later, or move the rear to a new bike. The cheaper the better, but if I can't get a decent hub/rim for less than $100 so be it. I'll probably be changing cogs for a while until I find the right ratio.
