It is for the most part. I should have elaborated. My Speed comment had to do with ability to maintain a speed and fatigue on the rider. Take two DA hubs, lace one with some Weinmann DP18's or other heavy V and a set with helium tubulars, everything else identical and the rider with the V's will pull a slower time, even if the weight of the bike is offset gram for gram with the wheel difference. Put the two bikes on a stand and spin a pedal with your hands. Youll feel the difference.
