I'm not sure a 90-92 Peugeot is "old" but it might fit the bill.
Ride it every day.
Problems: Don't even get me started. I love the old girl, but I've lost track of the times I said, "that's it, time for a new bike!"
A lot of the parts are proprietary, and not made any more. So every time something breaks, it's a crisis. This summer, the frame broke! I was able to replace it with a similar model that had an updated bottom bracket (Yay EBay!) so I don't think I'll be having quite so many issues in the future.
But boy, I could tell you some stories...
