No silly. Those breakfast 'biscuits' you talk about, we call scones and have them with tea, we put clotted cream and jam on them. They were the main thing I had to try when we had a stopover in Atlanta!! I've read so many American books where they have biscuits for breakfast I had some and was mildly amused at the outcome.
