I have narrowed it down to either speedplay or shimano 105's. Since it requires new shoes and I need 2 sets for both my CF bikes I don't want to make an error. THe 105 are cheaper but like the platform. The speedplays seem to require some lubing and attention to the cleats. I just do not know about float eggbeaters have 6 degrees and I have no knee issues. What do you all like? I generally like Shimano stuff and their drivetrain so I think the 105 will hold well just wondered about walking around in them as I am spoiled by my present set up.
