I do my 20 miles one way in usually 1:20-25 "moving time" and around 1:25-30 "total time." I hit a lot of long ass stop lights. There are also a ton of stop signs that I need to at least slow down for, which is killing the average. I would love to see how long it takes me if I never had to slow down.

It works out well for me.

Driving to the subway- 1 hour Door to Door (d2d)
Driving to the commuter train- 1 hour d2d
Driving to work- 1+ hour d2d
Biking- about 1:30 dtd. Yea, my daily commute takes an extra hour, but I enjoy it, and the exercise is great.
