I've not seen this film but can sympathize with the topic. I seem to have an active hermit gene and am content to spend long periods alone either backpacking or sailing. Maybe 'hermit' is too strong a work. Maybe long meditative periods is more accurate, periods where I can live at my own pace. I have quit jobs that were in environments that were too fast paced. It may be it has to do with whether a person is predominately left or right brained, whether a person is mainly intuitive or analytical. Any way, I'm convinced us hermits gotta stick together - we need a union.
