Realize adding that 5mm to the left end moves the whole hub to the right and so slightly less dish difference .

Better? an IGH, so only needing room for 1 cog not 8+.

or A tandem hub It ads 15 mm 145 a common tandem frame spec ,
then though the distance between flanges is still narrow,
the rim can be centered between them.
So, does the 135 mm hub offer a significantly stronger wheel, or some other whell advantage???
so far all single bike Disc Cassette hubs are 135.. so there is that..
significant is not a precise concept in this case , there is some..

more spokes sharing the load is beneficial..36 better than 28, unless the rim is small .
