I've got two or three older bikes riding around. My Raleigh just got a major upgrade. I took a triple group off of my Fuji so it found a new home on the old Competition. It is a fantastic bike, if a bit heavy. Now it has 27 speed Tiagra / Truvativ group. I've put on modern width bars, changed the stem. I think the only original parts still on it are the headset and seatpost.
My Nishiki fixie is a blast and gets ridden a lot. It's from the early 80s. Old bikes are a lot of fun both to ride and to work on.
