Yes, I get that people feel an ownership of the right of way in front of their property. However, they don't own it and using it for the movement of vehicles is a higher priority on most roads than the storage of private property. They should be thankful they are not getting added travel lanes. I get to deal with this issue locally all too often but with the twist that the residents want the parking removed and the nonresident landowners don't want any bike lanes put in.
